ELECTION COUNTS
Today Last Day For * Special Votes (Neto Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON. December 5. Most of the counts in the General Election are likely to be known tomorrow night. At 7 p.m. tomorrow the last special votes acceptable must be in the hands of returning officers. Soon after that hour the first “finals” will doubtless be notified to the Chief Electoral Officer (Mr L. Irwin). Some special votes received tomorrow up to 7 p.m. may take some time to check for validity, so that a complete New Zealand return could be delayed for a day or so.
