Southland Girls’ High School.— The final function of the year of the Christchurch branch of the Southland Girls’ High School Old Girls’ Association was held recently in the Overseas League rooms. It took the form of a Christmas party tz which representatives of kindred associations were invited. In welcoming the' guests, the president (Mrs E. Wood), presented them with gifts from the Christmas tree. A film which had been written and acted by pupils of Form L Burwood School, was shown by Mr L. W. Ford. Vocal items were given by Mrs M. Collins, accompanied by Mrs K. Newson, and Mrs D. McAhon. accompanied by Mrs Timpany.
