Japanese Goods

Sir,—According to a report in Wednesday’s paper, Japanese manufacturers are considering the possibility of building factories in New Zealand. Surely this permission will nbt be granted. If so, then it is time we had a change of Government and so safeguard the boys and girls of today. Years ago the Japanese boasted that one day they would control New Zealand. Even at the present time it is very disturbing to see so many Japanese articles in the shops and these unfortunately are not marked “Made in Japan.”—Yours, etc., > v A.S.B.C. November 20, 1960.
