Graduates’ Seat Contested There will be an election on December 5 for a graduates’ and diploma holders’ representative on the Board of Governors of Canterbury Agricultural College, Lincoln. The sitting member, Mr T. J. D. Holderness, a farmer of Gebbies Valley, is opposed by Mr I. L. Elliott, superintendent of the Rukuhia Soil Research Station, Hamilton. Members of Parliament have returned unopposed, Mr W. H. Gillespie, who is chairman of the board.
