Table Tennis N.Z. TEAMS FOR PEKING

World Tourney In April

(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, November 21. Four Northland players are included in the New Zealand table tennis teams to participate in the world championships in Peking in April. New Zealand will be represented by four men and three women. They are:—

Men: M. L. Dunn (Wellington). A. R. Tomlinson (Auckland), B. A. Foster (Otago), G. A. J. Frew (Northland).

Women: Miss N. Davis. Miss N. J. A. Attwood, and Mrs J. Green, all of NorthlandThe teams were announced at a meeting tonight of the New Zealand Table Tennis Association’s executive. The selectors—Mr J. E. Stewart (convener). Miss M. J. Guthrie, and Mrs L. M. Wilson—have named the top men in the New Zealand rankings for 1960, and the top women. The team will leave New Zealand late in March and is expected to return towards the end of April.
