Ordination Service Next Sunday
Two priests and four deacons will be ordained by the Bishon nf Dunedin (the Rt. Rev. A. H. Johnston > in the Christchurch Cathedral on Sunday morning. Bishou Johnston will be denutising for the Bishop of Chnstchurch (the Rt. Rev. A. K. Warrent. who is in hospital. The two priests are the Rev L. J. Denny, assistant curate of St. Mary’s. Mori vale, and the Rev. H. V. Harrison, assistant nnrate of St. Stephen’s. Ashburton. The four new deacons a r e Messrs W. E. L’mbrirk (St. Mary’s. Merivnle), H S. Paterson (St. John’s. HiffhfieW. C. R Tonks <St. Mary’s. Timaru). and J. A. Witbrock (St. Matthew’s. St. Albans). An ordination retreat for the six men will begin at Bishopscourt on Thursday. This will be conducted by the warden of Selwyn College (the R*»v. Canon D. S. Millar). It will end next Monday.
