Nehru Warns China
(Rec. 11 p.m.) NEW DELHI, November 21 Mr Nehru warned today that India would intercept and shoot down foreign aircraft violating India’s air space wherever possible. He told Parliament that bringing down violating aircraft was difficult but “we will certainly do it wherever we can do it.” His warning comes a week after an official Indian claim that Chinese aircraft violated Indian air space 101 times in the seven months ending in June.
