Two properties on the Cashmere Hills were sold at auction yesterday. The first, at 16 Dyers Pass road, sold for £3250, and the second, at 9 Macmillan avenue, sold for £B5OO.

The house in Dyers Pass road is on a section of 24.6 perches. The house is a small one of five rooms. Bidding opened at £l7OO and rose in £lOO and £5O bids to the selling price. It was sold on account of the trustees of the Rhodes Memorial Convalescent Home.

The property in Macmillan avenue is 38.8 perches. The concrete double storeyed house has three bedrooms with built-in furniture. A concrete garage is also on the property. Bidding opened at £7OOO and rose in £250 bids and £lOO bids to £B5OO. The property was sold on account of the executors of the estate of Nona E. TurnbullThomson.
