Discussions With Florists
Discussions with florirts’ representatives on what improvements can be made to ensure that flowers will reach retail buyers in the best possible condition, have been held by the committee of the New Zeeland Commercial Flower Growers' Association (Canterbury). The committee is considering discussions later with the marketing authorities. An address on flower growing in Wellington was given by Mr J. P. Sallinger, horticultural advisory officer of Wellington, at the last meeting of the association. He spoke of the types of producers, location and distribution of flowers, the Wellington flower market and future prospects for flpwer production.
