Confer
Representatives of the Canterbury, Marlborough and Nelson Freezing Workers’ Union and the freezing companies conferred on Friday on killing quotas for the new season to begin next month. The secretary of the union (Mr T. Handisides) said that the discussions had been adjourned until late this week. Earlier discussions were held on the same subject between union representatives and Federated Farmers.
