Report To Annual Meeting
Contributions bad been given to the Girls*- Life Brigade, to the New Zealand Christian Temperance Alliance, to the New Zealand fund of the Women’s Temperance Alliance, and to the Maori fund of the New Zealand Temperanee Alliance, it was 'reported at - the annual meeting of the Christchurch Central Women's Christian Temperance Union. It Was also reported that' members had helped with the sale of health stamps and with C.0J18.0. and Red Cross Work. Members honoured the memory Of the lite Mrs Elizabeth Leutze, a valued member of the Christchurch W.C.T.U. Officers were elected as follows:—President,- Miss E. Wilmore; vice-presidents, Mesdames C. H. Lennon and J. D. Gray; secretary, cradle roll, Mrs H. A. Hunt; treasurer, Mrs H. G. Brown, tea hostess, Mrs H. C. Lennon. Flowers were presented to the retiring president, Mrs H. G. Brown, , and to Mrs D. Jr S Osborne in appreciation of her presiding at the election of officers.
