Auxiliary Receives £9731

The sum of £9731 was received by the Canterbury and Westland auxiliary of the British and Foreign Bible Society during the year ended July 31. This was reported at the annual meeting of the auxiliary last evening. General donations amounted to £8462; special purpose donations to £102; book sales to £B4; and legacies received to £lOB3. In the year ended July 31, 1959, £11345 was received, z which was a record for the auxiliary. The most significant difference in the figures for the two years was that in the 1958-1959 v P »r the legacies amounted to £2356.
