MURDER CHARGE
Indian Remanded To September 20 (New Zealand Press Association) WANGANUI, September 12. Balbir Singh, aged 17. a scrub cutter, of "Otiwhiti” station, 10 miles from Hunterville, was charged in the Wanganui Magistrate’s Court this morning with the murder of a fellow Indian worker, Has Singh, aged 29. Balbir Singh was remanded in custody by Mr B. S. Barry, S.M., to the Wellington Magistrate's Court on September 20. The police were represented by Detective-Sergeant B. B. Bevage.
