ENGINEER FOR HEATHCOTE

New Appointment Confirmed

From November 18, the Heathcote County Council will employ a county engineer. Last evening the county council confirmed the appointment of Mr I. L. Hall, who is at present borough engineer with the Havelock North Borough Council.

Mr Hall is an Associate Member of the Institute of Civil Engineers (London), a member of the New Zealand Institute of Engineers and a registered civil engineer. Before his appointment to the Havelock Borough Council he worked as staff engineer for the Lower Hutt City Council, and as assistant engineer with a firm of engineers in Hastings.
