Novice Beats Experts
An outstanding performance by R. W. Bell, driving a Standard Vanguard, was a feature of a rally held by the New Zealand Rallies and Trials Enthusiasts’ Club last wfiek-end. Competing in the novice section, Bell, who is a Christchurch schoolteacher, lost only 71 points. This was, better than any of the entrants in the experts’ section, seme of whom are leading rally drivers. Results were:— Novice.—R. W. Bell (Standard Vanguard), 71 points lost, 1; R. G.
