(The Canadian dollar improved sharply last week, and the Belgian franc was weaker. Denmark: 19.59 kroner (19.58); 18.91 kroner (18.90). Norway: 20.25 kroner (same); 19.58 kroner (19.59). Sweden: 14.58 kroner (14.59); 14.25 kroner (same). Switzerland: 12.11 francs (12.10): 11.86 francs (same). Overseas Assets Steady.—Net overseas assets of the N.Z. banking system were unchanged in the week ended July 27. At that date they were £ 114.9 m, which is £ 10.7 m above the comparable 1959 figure. Dennys Lascelles.—Dennys Lascelles. Ltd., woolbroker.
