Monowai’s Last Voyage
(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, August 2. The Monowai is expected to leave Wellington within the next 5 days on her final voyage, Mr R M. Ip, managing-director of t!» Far East Metal Industries and Slipping Company, of Hong K<ag, which has purchased the line* for scrap, said today. He is in Wellington to take delivery of the konowai and arrange her passage.! A Jrew of about 50 Chinese and EVopeans would arrive from Hong long shortly, he said.
