New Red Cross Appeal
(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) GENEVA, July 31. The international committee of the Red Cross and the League of Red Cross Societies have decided to launch a new appeal for medical teams for hospitals in the Congo. The appeal is directed to 18 Red Cross Societies over and above those asked a week ago to send help, the International Red Cross headquarters stated today. They included the Australian and New Zealand societies. According to information gathered by the Congo Health Ministry, hospitals in Kasai Province are without medical staff.
