The Totalisator Agency Board handled a total of £334,265 on Saturday’s three meetings, compared with £253,763 for the corresponding day last year. Saturday’s total was made up of £144,222 10s in win and place betting and £190,042 10s on doubles. Details:— Taumanmui On-course: £63,389 10s, up £5939 10s. Off-course: £142,280 ss, up £32,745. Rangitikei On-course: £39,320 10s, up £11,085. Off-course: £101,738 10s, up £44,549 58. Riccarton On-course: £55,195 10s, up £12,549 10s. Off-course: £90,246 ss, down £41,166. The Christchurch Hunt meeting was held on a Friday last year. Off-course Substitutes Off-course substitutes were:— Taumarunul: Ferrari. Rangitikei: Gallant Lady. Riccarton: Ravelston.
