Lark, a three-year-old outsider, won the one-mile 135,600 dollars (about £60,000) Arlington Classic by three-quarters of a length at Arlington Park yesterday Ridden by John Sellers, T.V. Lark, carrying 8-8. was timed at Imin 36 l-ssec. He started at 33 to 2. John William, ridden by Ismael Valenzuela, was second, with the even-money favourite, Venetian Way, ridden by Eddie Arcaro, third. Both’ horses carried 8-11, the topweight.
