Very Small Loss Shown The over-all net loss pf 14s 5d for the year and a profit of £572 on the annual race meeting is shown in the annual report and balance sheet of the Hororata Racing Club to be presented to members oh July 28. With the T.AJ3. distribution the final race meeting profit will be very satisfactory, according to the report of the president (Mr J. F. Tbwalies). The net loss on the previous year’s operations was £2OO. Totalisator receipts of £3192 and nomination and acceptance fees amounting to £331 were the club’s main sources of income. Stakes of £2270, distributed at the annual race meeting, and race meeting expenses of £746 were the main items of expenditure.
