W. D. SKELTON TO RETURN SOUTH

The successful Oamaru horseman, W. D. Skelton, who has been living in the North Island for about three months, will return home after the Wellington Racing Club’s winter meeting. He is expected to arrive in Oamaru next Tuesday or Wednesday, and will probably be riding at the South Canterbury Hunt Club’s meeting at Washdyke next Saturday.

Skelton moved to Levin early in May. He took over the training of F. C. Pratt’s team while his father-in-law and Mrs Pratt were on holiday in Europe.
