Chamber Support For Veterinary School
The Canterbury Chamber of Commerce decided last evening to give its “fullest support” for the establishment of a veterinary school at Canterbury Agricultural College, Lincoln. A resolution pledging suport for the committee of Federated Farmers of New Zealand and allied bodies working tor the school's establishment was carried. A resolution pledging support ber’s support for the establishment of a pulp and paper mill in Canterbury, and authorising a representative of the Chamber to travel to Wellington M a member of a deputation on the matter, was also carried.
