JOHANNESBURG, July 6. The wealthy, white South African farmer, David Pratt, will appear in Pretoria this month at a preparatory examination into the April 9 shooting in which the Prime Minister (Dr. Verwoerd) was wounded. Pratt, whose farm and luxury homestead are about 30 miles west of Johannesburg, has been held since the incident Pratt was not Charged after his arrest but held under the emergency regulations This way he could be detained throughout the emergency withoutappearing in Court.
