GUILD OF HELP ANNUAL REPORT

Church Embroidery Large Project

Orders from all parts of New Zealand come to the Sisters of the Community of the Sacred Name in Christchurch, who specialise in the embroidery of Church linen, among other duties. In the annual report of the Guild of Help, Community of the Sacred Namg, this work was described, with emphasis on projects such as the remaking and re-designing of an. old frontal, the making of four sets of vestments find frOntals, a set of linen vestments and a banner for a Mothers’ Union in the mission field.

News of branch meetings was also included in the report, Which was presented at the guild’s annual meeting, recently. The Bishop of Christchurch (the Rt. Rev. A. K. Warren) presided.
