Council Orders Removal As a result of objections by the public, advertisements placed on bus stop- seats erected in the Heathcote county by an advertising company will be removed. In a letter received by the Heathcote County Council last evening, the company admitted it had omitted to submit the advertisements to the council las the council had required) and said it would, remove any considered .offensive forthwith on the council’s instructions. The county chairman (Mr R. A Young) said that there had been complaints about the advertisements in the form of letters to the newspaper, and personally to him as the county chairman “There has not been a hue and cry. but there have been quite a number of complaints,” Mr Young said. I "This company has not complied with its contract and we should do something about it.” he said It was decided that the company be instructed to remove the advertisements complained of. and that any future advertisements must be first submitted for the council’s approval, as previously required
