Shirley-St. Albans Garden Club

The annual meeting of the Shir-ley-St. Albans. Garden Club was held recently when trophies were presented by the patron (Mrs J K. Moloney) to the foliowins:— Decorative section. A grade. Mrs L. A. Bennett: B grade, Mrs F C. Le Pine; three blooms. Mrs L. A. Bennett; best large bloom. Miss Wilkie; best small bloom. Mrs L. A. Bennett: best vegetables, Mrs H M. Thomson; Coronation Cup. Mrs R. L. Ronaldson; most consistent exhibitor. Mrs T. McMillan. A presentation was made to the retiring president (Mrs L. N Cuming) in appreciation of her untiring services to the club. Mrs Moloney made the presentation and thanked Mrs Cuming on behalf of the members. Tokens were presented to the secretary, treasurer and retiring stewards The following officers were elected:— , Patron. Mrs J. K. Moloney; president, Mrs M. Gray; vice-presi-dents, Mesdames A. T. Dangerfield and J. J. Cuddon; secretary. Miss F. S. Bird; treasurer, Mrs H. A. Booth; stewards, Mesdames L. A. Bennett, R. L. Ronaldson. B. Napper, and C. Dean; reporter. Mrs C. A. Tucker; committee. Mesdames E. R. Reay, J. J. Cuddon. H. M. Thomson. A. T. Dangerfield R. G. Compton.
