MELBOURNE SALE

Offerings Include N.Z.-Bred, Opo (N.Z. Press Assoctatton— Copyright) ‘ MELBOURNE, June 30 The promising New Zealandbred two-year-old Opo should be the main attraction in the sale ring at the Melbourne Show Grounds tomorrow, the “Melbourne Herald” racing writer said today. Opo will be among the first lots offered. He has raced only six times for two minor placings —one at Flemington on June 11 and the other at Moonee Valley last Saturday. He appeared to be “all at sea” in the heavy going on the circular Valley track. His effort when second at Flemington a couple of weeks earlier was more promising. The Mornington Hurdle winner, Hayfane, the grey sprinter Kanobi and the steeplechaser Denvid are in tomorrow’s sale.
