Melbourne Cup Display
(N.Z. Pres* Association—Copyright) MELBOURNE, June 30 The £5OO gold cup trophy for the £25,000 Centenary Melbourne Cup this year will begin a display tour early next month beginning with New Zealand. It will be in New Zealand from July 14 to August 6. On tour the eup will be accompanied by the trophies for the £6OOO Hallmark Stakes, £lO,OOO Tattersall’s Handicap, and the Provincial Plate, to be run at the Centenary Cup meeting.
