TF PUBLIC NOTICES MALVERN COUNTY COUNCIL AMENDMENT TO BY-LAW PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that in exercise of the powers conferred on it by “The Counties Act, 1956” and “The Water Supply Act. 1908” and amendments thereto, the Malvern County Council at a Special Meeting held in the Council Chambers, Darfield, on Friday, June 3, 1960, resolved by way of Special Order to amend the “Malvern Water Race District Charge By-law, 1958” as follows: ; “That the additional charge for properties situated within the Kimberley Water Race Special Rating Area be amended from £2 15s to £5 10s per 100 acres, and the minimum charge from 5s to 10s.” ADOPTION OF BY-LAW PUBLIC NOTICE is also given that in exercise of the powers contained in Section 92 of the Counties Act, 1956, the Malvern County Council at a Special Meeting held in the Council Chambers, Darfield, on Friday, June 3, 1960, resolved by way of Special Order to adopt the following By-law: “New Zealand Standard Standing Orders for Counties, 1959.” PURPORT: To provide a set of rules to govern the proceedings at Council Meetings. < Copies of the abovementioned By-law and Amendment are deposited at the Council Office, Darfield, and are open to the inspection of the public during office hours until July 3, 1960.
