Soccer AUSTRALIAN TEST CAPTAIN
Representative Career Ends (N.Z. Prest Association— Copyright) SYDNEY, June 23 The Australian test captain-coach, J. Marston, aged 34. has retired from representative soccer, the "Sydney Morning Herald” said today. Marston has captained Australia since his return from England in 1955. In England he played for Preston North End and won a “cap** when he played for the Football League against the Scottish League. He has captained Australia against South Attica, New Zealand. China. F.K. Austria, the Hungarian team. Ferenevaros, Blackpool, and Heart of Midlothian.
Marston will continue to play for his dub, Apia Leichharot.
