MAN IMPERSONATED POLICE OFFICER

Three Months’ Gaol Imposed

(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 24.

A prison term of three months was imposed upbn Kevin Bryon Astwood, aged 22, a workman, when he appeared for sentence in the Magistrate’s Court at Wellington today on three charges of false pretences and one of impersonating a police officer.

Mr J. S. Hanna, S.M-, said that Astwood must curb his “puerile flights of fancy.” Earlier this year he had served a prison term for obtaining credit by fraud.
