Transport Board Invitation
Members of the public would be welcome to attend meetingi of the Christchurch Transport Board, the new board chainnu (Mr J. Palmer) said yesteiday afternoon.
He extended the invitation at the board’s monthly meeting Just after being elected chainna* to succeed Mr N. R. Forbes. "I make it quite clear that tay time a member of the paftlie wishes to come he will be Welcome,” Mr Palmer said. "If the public took flkM Interest in the board's affairs wo would have further guidance fa any action we might eoutenplate,” he said. Mr R. H. Stillwell succeeded Mr Palmer as deputy chairman et the board.
