New Zealand-Bred Filly Injured
INJ!. Press Association— Copyright) ADELAIDE, June 6. A valuable New Zealand-bred racehorse was badly injured in a road accident at Morphettville today. The injured horse is Torssan, a two-year-old. Veterinary surgeons are trying to save Torssan. an unraced filly bv Mainbrace from Olena Torssan was being led by a stable apprentice from another horse before dawn when she shied, broke free and bolted. The filly crashed into a Utility vehicle, badly damaging it and severely injuring herself. It is believed the occupants Ox the vehicle, a man and a woman, escaped with slight cuts.
