A NEW TREND IN BRIDGE DESIGN, to meet National Roads Board’s requirements throughout New Zealand, is illustrated by this recently-completed motorway underpass structure at Johnsonville. This bridge has duck-egg blue under surfaces and off-white facing surfaces. It was designed in the Wellington district office of the Ministry of Works.
