DRIVER DIES IN CRASH
Three Others Injured
(New Zealand Press Association) INVERCARGILL, June 6. A man was killed and three persons were injured when the two cars in which they were travelling collided on the main InvercargillQueenstown highway about 6.40 p.m. today He was:
James Douglas Pink, of Invercargill, driver of one of the cars.
Those injured are Alistair John Giller, of North Makarewa, Peter Mcßae, of Winton, and Miss Rosalie Johnstone, of Forest Hill.
The two injured men were on the seriously ill list at the Kew Hospital tonight. Miss Johnstone’s condition was described by the hospital as satisfactory. The accident occurred at North Makarewa. three-tenths of a mile north of the Makarewa bridge Both cars were very severely damaged.
