(N.Z. Press Association —Copyright) BERNE, May 14. The Soviet Government has sent a Note to Switzerland accusing the Swiss of conspiring with the United States in the expulsion of two Soviet Embassy officials for spying.
The Note, which protested against the expulsion of Mr Borislav Modin and Mr Yves Walov, two embassy secretaries, said the United States was looking for an incident to divert world attention away from the spy flight. British United Press said. The Swiss Government said there was ‘‘no connexion between the arrest of the two Soviet officials and the recent air incident.”
