Footpaths
Sir, —I know of a better ’ole in a footpath. It is just before a ’phone box near the corner of Caspian street and Rocking Horse road. Should a child be so unfortunate as to step in this hole, it would suffer a broken ankle or leg. To an elderly person, I wouldn’t make a guess. This hole needs a metal covering with holes for draining. In and out of town our holes are wonderful on footpaths.—Yours, etc., BRIGHTON SOUTH. May 15, 1960.
