Programme For Lincoln Conference Next Month
'THE annual Lincoln College farmers’ conference is now less than a month away. While final figures for attendance at the three-day meeting are not yet available, about 300 farmers from various parts of the South Island are expected to be present. Proceedings will open at a combined session on May IS when the guest speaker will "be Mr A P. O’Shea. Dominion secretary of

Subsequently, the conference will break up into two sections, i Dairy farmers will hear Mr T G. Tyrer. of the “New Zealand Dairy Exporter.” discuss selffeeding of silage in Britain. Mr M. G Hoilard. of the college staff, on a subject that has long; been of interest in Canterbury—l soiids-not-fat—and Dr. C S. M. Hopkirk, who is also on the college staff, on brucellosis in dairy i Sheep Seetion At the same time sheep farmers! will hear reports on ill-thrift: from speakers including Mr W. I G.
