After trying many shops for: replacements I asked one very helpful retailer to see if he could get me half a dozen caps as “spares.” His approach to the wholesaler was unsuccessful; the manufacturer sends out. just so many cape to so many flasks. To get 2d worth of cap we must buy Is Yd worth of flask—and accumulate numerous capless flasks. May I suggest A motto for the New Zealand March 31, 1960. [The manufacturers of the flasks stated, that all flasks were equipped with screw caps when distributed, and the loss of caps bad proved to be so infrequent as as not to warrant retailer* carrying replacement stocks. Should replacements become necessary for any reason, the manufketurers were pleased /to supply them upon request, without charge. It would have been more logical for. the matter of replacement caps to be referred to them than to become the subject of “unjustified and extravagant criticism of New Zealand manfacturers,” the firm added.]
