Tulloch Fancied For Stakes

(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) SYDNEY, April 11. Tulloch’s presence in the Queen Elizabeth Stakes on Wednesday has frightened most of the runners out of the race. The only certain other starters are Sir Blink, Gulf Boy and Royal Jester. Tulloch pulled up well after his track trial this morning but is not a much better horse than when he won the Queen’s Plate in Melbourne, or the Chipping Norton Stakes 10 days ago. Tulloch has now won £68,968 ICa in stakes and if he wins the Queen Elizabeth Stakes he will have won £71,018 10s. Redcraze holds the record for a stake winner in Australia with £71,481 but that record may go when Tulloch runs in the Autumn Stakes next Saturday.
