NEW YORK, April 11. American television viewers last night saw a brief film showing the assassination attempt on the South African Prime Minister (Dr. Verwoerd) on Saturday. The film, shown on a late-night television news broadcast after having been sent across the transatlantic telephone cable, was the same one shown earlier in the day to British viewers by the 8.8.
