Cyclist Killed By Truck (New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, April 10. A six-year-old boy cyclist was killed this afternoon in a collision with a truck at the corner of Miranda street and Blockhouse Bay road, Auckland. He was: Jack Graham Thompson, son of Mr and Mrs B. Thompson, 114 Dunbale avenue, Blockhouse Bay. Elderly Man Badly Hurt By Car (New Zeaiana Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 10. An 86-year-old retired man was seriously injured when he was struck by a car on the corner of Cottle street, Taita, on Saturday night. He is Mr B. Dunn, of Coulson street, Lower Hutt. He was taken to Hutt Hospital suffering from shock, a fractured left thigh, fractured pelvis and injury to upper left arm. The hospital tonight reported his condition as fair. Head Injuries In Collision Head injuries were suffered by Harold Levy, of 172 Chester street, when a cyclist and a motor-cyclist collided at the corner of Gloucester and. New Regent streets shortly after midday on Saturday. Mr Levy was taken to the Christchurch Hospital by a St. John ambulance and admitted. His condition was reported last evening as satisfactory. Milkman Suffers Head Injuries A milkman suffered head injuries when he stepped out from the front of his truck into the path of a taxi in Bealey avenue about 2.35 a.m. on Saturday. He is Robert Anthonton Campbell, aged 28, of 93 Bexley road. Mr Campbell was taken to the Christchurch Hospital by a St. John ambulance and admitted. His condition was reported last evening as satisfactory. The accident occurred about 100 yards east of Victoria street. Mr Campbell’s .wife was in the front seat of the truck.
