TRINIDAD TEST

England Out For 393 (N.Z. Press Association—Conyright) PORT OF SPAIN (Trinidad), March 26. K. T. Ramadhin, using both flight and spin cleverly, claimed four wickets in a devastating spell in the middle of the afternoon to ruin England's hopes of a massive total on the second day of the fifth test yesterday. England, losing its last six wickets after lunch for 85 runs, was all out for 393 and in the remaining 82 minutes the West Indies made 49 for the loss of E. McMorris. In addition C. Hunte, the other opener, retired hurt after being struck on the right side of the forehead when trying to hook a bumper from F. S. Trueman. Two stitches were later inserted in the wound. Ramadhin captured his four wickets for a cost of 26 runs yesterday to finish with four for 73. J. M. Park scored a bright 43 in 104 minutes before giving Sobers a return catch. K. F. Barrington, who retired hurt on Friday night, resumed with a flexible steel splint over his injured right finger and was England’s other batting success. He made 69. The West Indies, which must win this matbh to level the series, was unfortunate over the dismissal of McMorris. F. C. M. Alexander drove Trueman fiercely. The ball struck the fast bowler on the right boot and was deflected into the stumps with McMorris out of his crease. Scores:—
