THIS VAST UNDERGROUND BOMB-PROOF SHELTER, built in solid rock about 50ft below street level, was recently completed in Karlskrona, southern Sweden. With accommodation for 5000 persons, it is thought to be the largest and most modern shelter in Europe. Its features include a bowling alley, a table tennis room, and a theatre. Similar shelters are being built in all the large cities in Sweden.
