The Totalisator Agency Board handled a total of £320,376 5s on Saturday’s seven daytime racing and trotting meetings, compared with £380,562 on the corresponding day last year. This figure was made up of win and place Investments of £149,484 and £170,892 5s on doubles. Betting on the two night trotting meetings is not included. Details are:— AUCKLAND On-course: £102,138 15s. No corresponding meeting last year. Off-course: £54,623 10s. OHINEMURI On-course: £55,659, up £15,835. Off-course: £95,878, up £32,726 ss. WAIROA On-course: £31,921, down £1834 10s. Off-course: £26,996, down £5352 15s. MANAWATU On-course: £61,828, down £7996. Off-conrse £86,041 10s, up £7486 15s. TARANAKI On-conrse: £30,360 10s, up £ 3948. Off-course: £50,474 15s, up £144147 ss. WELLINGTON On-course: £77,846 10s. No corresponding meeting. Off-course: £50,451. GREYMOUTH On-course: £14,426, up £3583. Off-course: £16,980, up £8693. TIMARU On-course: £30.496 10s, down £10,630 10s. Off-course: £33,474, up £1275 15s. WYNDHAM On-course: £24,504, up £7OO. Off-course: £10,532, down £3926 15s, Off-course substitutes were:— Auckland: Te Kawerau. Ohlnemuri: Bonnie Praise. Wairoa: Minstrel Beau. Manawatu: Wonder Gold. Taranaki: Drum Roll.
