Mangere Airport

The Prime Minister (Mr Nash) said in Auckland that he was anxious for talks on an international airport for Auckland to be held. But during his present vi<it it would not be possible to hold discussions with the Mayor of Auckland (Mr D. M. Robinson). “I want talks to be held as soon as possible," said Mr Nash. “But they must be held in Wellington with the three Ministers concerned present.” The sooner agreement could be reached the sooner bulldozers could start work, he said.—(P.A.)
