MURDER CHARGE
Man Remanded Till Today
(New Zealand Press Association) THAMES, February 15. George Nelson, aged 26, a garden worker, of Kerepehi, was charged in the Magistrate’s Court at Hamilton this morning with the murder of Maketu Williams, aged 19, a dairy factory worker, also of Kerepehi, and was remanded until to-morrow. The accused’s wife is a patient in the Thames Hospital, where she is receiving treatment for concussion and facial injuries. Her condition this morning was reported to l be satisfactory.
