Noholme To Run At Caulfield
(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) MELBOURNE, February 15. The trainer, Maurice McCarten, will start the Newmarket Handicap favourite Noholme, in the weight-for-age St. George Stakes at Caulfield on Saturday week because there is no other race for the three-year-old to start in before the big sprint. It will be Noholme’s first start since he won the weight-for-age C. B. Fisher Plate last spring at Flemington, and his last run before the Newmarket. Noholme is a firm favourite today for the Newmarket, and has taken over from his brother, Todman, at the top of the list.
