MINOR FIRES

A shed and washhouse at 443 Cashel street were badly damaged by fire about 2.11 p.m. yesterday. Two units from the Central Fire Station answered the call.

At 5.22 p.m. one unit from St. Albans attended an oven fire at the home of Brian Dolan, 7 Orkney street. No damage was caused. A car was slightly damaged when it caught fire at the corner of Edgeware road and Cranford street at 6.41 pan. One unit from St. Albans attended the fire. The car is owned by John White. Three units from the Central Fire Station attended a fire in an electric drying cabinet at the factory of M- O’Brien, Ltd., 36 Dundas street at 8.39 p.m.

Damage was done to wooden heels inside the cabinet.
